Maintenance Servicing

We strongly recommend that your security system is serviced annually in order for it to remain reliable. Like anything, if not properly maintained, the performance from your system will deteriorate over time, which may result in false alarms or even a system that does not work at all!


Some of the checks and tests that are carried out by our technicians during our full 20 point service:
 

• full system function tests
• preventative maintenance
• battery load checks, to ensure that your backup battery keeps your security system functional through power cuts
• ensuring the level of protection is still adequate if the building usage or layout has changed
• check all devices are functioning properly

It is also the requirement of many insurance companies that your alarm is regularly serviced.

If we installed or have been maintaining your system, we will contact you when your annual service is due. If we have not contacted you in the last 12 months, or you would like Nelson Alarms to carry out a service on your security system, please contact us.

 

Remote Support

Nelson Alarms also provide remote support of compatible security systems via our security computers. This enables us to carry out changes, produce activity reports, maintain user access and codes and also securely store a backup of your system without a site visit. Please contact us should you require these services.

 

Recurring Servicing

 

All clients who agree to have automatic scheduled servicing will be rewarded with a 10% discount on all materials used with servicing, including any resulting upgrades or remedial work. Read more...
