The Great Ride for Heart 2010.Helping to win the fight against Heart Desease. On February 9th 2010, Peter joined a group of cardiologists and other health professionals on a fundraising ride. A core group of 25 had already cycled from Kataia to Wellington. Peter was one of 30 additional relay riders and rode 3 stages; from Nelson to Murchison,on to Hanmer Springs and then to Christchurch where he left them to carry on to Bluff. The aim was to boost awareness of heart disease prevention and helped raise over $1 million for the Heart Foundation's Cardiovascular Research Fund. Riders paid their own expenses so every cent raised went directly towards this great cause which will benefit all New Zealanders. Thank you to all who sponsored Peter.
